Thread,
Well, I guess AG now knows what will happen if rates are lowered. Since I don't think he is anxious to see more irrational days like today, the bulls may have just cancelled or delayed a rate decrease. Based on all the happy bulls today it appears that we did not come anywhere near the true market bottom last week. Not enough fear out there. I think true fear is on the way however. As AG said in his speech, the US cannot prosper while the rest of the world sinks. Just my opinion.

INDEX UPDATE
--------------------------

It is still early, so anything can happen. Japan gapped up at the open but now is about to go negative. If Japan closes near flat it would form a DOJI and a SHOOTING STAR, which is a reversal signal.

Non of the Asian markets are not up strong, but closer to being flat. If they all close flat that would be the reversal signal to the downside.

It is still early in their trading day, so its hard to tell as it is with all the intraday fluctuations we have in our market. They actually could go negative by their close of trading.

Do not have enough time to go into detail, but there is a minor technical signal that we may be heading for a trading range. It now depends on how much higher the market goes, if it does. Please understand it is not a strong signal and needs further confirmation.

Steve,

Yes, todays action negates the bear pennant, so 8095 is the main resistance now, since the market took out 7952 resistance also.
