Don't confuse share price with market cap. The share price is only a function of the company's valuation divided by the number of shares. WCOM's market cap is higher than Sprint because it is worth more. If WCOM were to buy back enough shares or if Sprint were to split 2 for 1 (mere accounting transactions), the WCOM share price would be higher.

Thanks once again for your timely and informative replys. I saw the Faber piece on CNBC today and could not fathom Mr. Ebbers making a play for ATI until integrating the MCIC deal. I'm sure that stranger things could happen and wireless would be a true rounding out of the pie, however; I would personally prefer to see the merger finalized first. Once that takes place and the synergies of the combined co's are realized, I couldn't think of a better next step than picking up ATI. That would certainly be my choice pick from a shareholders perspective. Best to you......Garry
