They spend almost half as much on the White House as they do on Education. Between Congressional staffing and the White House,
you could pay for the entire Education budget, almost $ 50 billion
a year.

The whole idea that the White House staff is "overstaffed" to protect and represent Clinton in his personal capacity is BS. These lawyers are protecting the office of the POTUS. When the WH is being hit with daily requests for thousands of documents to be produced to the numerous ICs, Congressional investigators, and other lawyers on fishing expeditions (Larry Klayman et al.) what do you expect? Of course the WH staff is going to have to expand to meet those requests. The number of lawyers dealing with these requests is a fraction of the legions of lawyers who would work on this matter if the WH was represented by private attorneys. If you want to stop wasting public money on lawyers, then stop waging war with the WH.
