I've taken lots of performance enhancing drugs and played first string on my college girl-chasing team, so I can certainly relate to McGwires reaction(s). I've picked up a lot of young ladies myself!!<g>

I only wish that in my competitive playing days that I could have been in a situation individual or team that I/we accomplished something and had the opportuntity to express my emotions.

I am just happy that I can turn on the TV and find the media celbrating man's achievments for a change rather than their normal aversion to man's failures as well as to disaster. That is why I watch very little TV except for some sports and a few select CDN produced TV programs.

I don't care what he did and I did not think it odd - He is a class act that many more of our overpaid pompous athletes should use as an example - He is human - not like 75% of those pigs who for some reason feel that they are a different class than the rest of us. I have known many pro athletes and most of them are assholes - Mac does not appear to be one. Congrats
