Duncan, have you developed a prurient interest in the Kennedy men? Shame on you, or something!! As if we didn't have enough problems at the moment with our heroes dissolving before our very eyes. Actually, Nureyev doesn't really surprise me. I know it's hard for all of the resident homophobes to even think about, but men (real men, men who enjoy women, men who are powerful and respected by other men) have always experimented sexually. Wasn't Alexander the Great homosexual, incidentally? Prowess at politics and war does not belong only to the completely heterosexual among us. The upper and lower classes, having nothing to lose, are especially curious, typically. I do remember reading about John Kennedy's orgies with men and women in the late forties, in which he participated fully. But is Heynmann a well-respected biographer, really, or a sensationalist?
