Re -- Short positions aren't sold, they are covered by buying shares and then replacing the ones that you originally borrowed

As usual you demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of anything. Selling a naked "put" is considered closing a short position.

You should stick to tea leaves. Charts are not good for you.

Jim you are right on my "short" AMD stock ... but I think you are wrong
on my LEAPs (Puts).
