When I was following EGGS, there were
hundreds of people on Yahoo and SI. And they posted 24 hours a
day post after post. Lots more just read the posts. Since I don't know any mms, I can't guarantee what they are doing, but IMO the whole
SI/Yahoo influence is huge.

Yes, I agree with your basic premis. I also think that day trading and on-line investing is growing faster than most would want to believe. A lot of this growth is taking place on investing BB's like SI.
