Well this would indeed be unusual. Because the 10-Q for second quarter would have been for the end of June. Moving it to the end of August is only a two month shift. Moving it to end of September now would mean that there was an attempt to skip reporting for a whole quarter.

I can readily understand why they might want to delay it, if it is going to be unflattering and expose a major problem in the valuation of the company.
