Maxwell - Re: "K7 is a 32-bit CPU, good enough to be the fastest 32-bit CPU running X86 codes"

Forgive me, but I guess I've been asleep and haven't read the K7 reviews and benchmarks.

Where are they posted?

Re: "SUNW already has a 64-bit CPU but it doesn't run Windows. AMD has the know how to make a CPU runs Windows. Partnership makes perfect sense."

Let's see - Motorola provides the fab process and Sun provides the design expertise.

Sounds like AMD is on top of the situation.

As long as we're making unsubstantiated claims, I'll make mine. The K7 will trail Intel's offerings at each and every point in it's life, just like the K6 does now.
