Chuzz..dude. Let's face it. If we go down this path the only folks that will be in office (or able to be anyway) will be the local priests and pastors... Uh,, well, I take that back. Given all the recent stories about alter boys and what not... I guess they won't even pass muster.

<-OT->The Beatification of Dan Burton the 'holier-than thou' dude.

Paul:

The Dan Burton story was out a few days ago and I couldn't more pleased 'cos if you remember he was the one who called Bubba a 'scum bag' when the Lewinsky stroy broke as if he was a virgin and about to be beatified by the Pope-Yaahoooooooooo!!!!

...and now the mother of all jokes- Well he is also a leading figure in the Ethics committee who is looking into the sexual peccadillos of Clinton.Hehehehhe.Talk about the fox guarding the chicken coop! Here is an idea may be we can appoint Starr as the supreme ruler and have him go after every SOB up there in the congress and senate and forget about governing the country we will ask Greenspan and Rubin to do that,'howz that'?

Never liked the guy,you will know why if you follow International 'affairs' <pun intended>,mind you not the D.C kinda 'affair' but I meant Foreign Policy. Couldn't have happened to a lesser hypocrite and I ain't crying forya Argentiiiiiiiiiiinaa.<VBG>

"I saw that Rep. Dan Burton came public today with an extramarital affair that resulted in an illegitimate child. I wonder whether congress will initiate impeachment proceedings against him."

Probably not...I wonder how soon some idiots will start the proceedings to investigate every past presidents of the country starting with Washington and possibly ask the Congress for posthumous impeachment if found guilty of sexual infractions or whatever!!!!

OK that is it I am outta here.

I saw that Rep. Dan Burton came public today with an extramarital affair that resulted in an illegitimate child. I wonder whether congress will initiate impeachment proceedings against him.

We will probably hear more of these confessions and contritions. Do you think that the Judiciary committee and congressional members will have look in to their past and closets and make some confessions and contritions before they can honestly and earnestly take up the Clinton matter? If there are some serious matters of concern, would you think that they will drop the whole thing and give some plausible reason to make fools of us all? Anyway you look at it, Ken Starr's Government money and time spent may be a colossal waste. Humiliation of the nation, and all involved parties in front of this whole wide world is what he may have achieved. When is truth not a good policy? National security, military matters, Intelligence activities......Should we posthumously impeach all the presidents, who were behavioral clintonites in their days? May be they/or progeny would seek protection under statute of limitations. Nobody showed concern for Mrs. Clinton and his daughter. They feel the most anguish in silence.
Do you think truth unsaid would have kept them in the dark, but happy?

There is a thread for this crap called the "coffee shop". You can also post this privately. There are a very large number of daily (good) posts here on the Dell Computer thread.
