Paul, As long as it is perceived that there is money to be made in the x86 business, there will be venture capital and R&D money directed towards building new processors. Intel's need for large margins makes them vulnerable. It is quite remarkable to me how Cyrix jumped ahead with MediaGX, and then failed to enhance the product line. It reminds me of the old days of the Houston Oilers, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Scumbria
