What irks me most is small mindedness, not that you fit that description.

In my opinion it is beneath the ambitions and goals of this country's founders, that lying about an affair (even under oath) would lead to Presidential impeachment. Clinton's behavior was disrespectful to the office, it was disrespectful to his family and in some cases insulted the morals of those who elected him and especially those who didn't.
Yet, in no way was an affair between a wide eyed intern (who's an adult and responsible for her actions by every world standard at age 21), grounds for more than a moral rebuke. Regarding the fact that he lied about an affair and attempted to hide it is not a high crime against anyone but himself and his family, its certainly not a crime intended against the state or to defraud or use his office.

I'll repeat that IF lying and obstructing evidence of an affair unseats a President, its just the beginning of a road that's damaging to all. That level of retribution should be reserved for crimes that attack the country or abuse the powers of the office in profound ways.

This Starr/Clinton hide and seek is a political attack on the person of Clinton to unseat the Presidency. Get it.
