Another scam that keeps resurfacing is the UV light that kills bacteria in sewage.

I'm not sure what you mean about this. The technology is real, and used by many municipalities. I think it's typically used as an advanced treatment just before the effluent is released, often in lieu of chlorination.

Perhaps it wouldn't be a good "story" to invest in, as the product isn't very advanced technically, and anyone can build one and compete in the market.
