Patrick,

>>>>> I recall a few weeks ago where someone mentioned the excessive negative TICK indicated a relief rally. I noted where Cook felt the same way. I was persuaded to think along those lines when by co-incidence Hank Camp called and I asked him. Without getting into it too much, he basically said to start looking for a -1600 TICK on Monday and worse Tuesday. Sure enough. It did get much worse, hitting almost 1600 Monday and cresting 1700 on Tuesday of the following week.

Good point.

By the way, my short-term technicals only have a reading of 35-40 (quick approximate calculation), which is means that even with the DOW down 300 my technicals are only in the middle and still has alot more room to the downside.
