It looks like, after two really bad days, Friday morning DELL may gap up. But I think that a morning rally will be short lived and the late morning onwards will be the buying opportunity.
This speculation is not based on any hard facts. It just looks like there is some support for the DOW at 7500 and there was an uptick in the last half hour for DELL, CSCO, IBM, etc.
For anyone interested, I still have my DELL stock, bought Sep 55 Calls on Tuesday, sold them today and bought the Oct60 calls today. Until the market settles I will continue to do this for the short term gains while accumulating stock in the dips (I hope). I may sell the calls tomorrow if there is a gap up because I think the rally will not last the day. I fear that this year's final quarter will be like 97 and the first day of trading in 99 will be when everything goes on a sustained rise. Hopefully, I'll be holding calls if DELL sustains a rally in the next few days/weeks though.
