Who's high tech? The problem with groceries is that there is more impulse shopping here than in any other area I can think of. I would not dream of buying fruits and vegetables without seeing them. How do you smell a cantaloupe over the internet? And you cannot grow vegetables to order.

I think that the product has to be an industrial commodity that is a planned purchase. Ideally it could be modularized, and should be aimed at quantity purchasers. So let me throw out this thought -- office furniture.

Someone mentioned stereo systems. Thats a good beginning. You can do high end and skip the cheapies like DELL does with computers. Also I know many people who are very choosy about putting together their music entertainment system components.
