something thing tells me that supply/demand action would prohibit
that from happening (even if it WAS legal), but you bring up an
interesting point. Let's suppose that TLAB's interest wains...
for whatever reason... What IS a fair price for CIENA... the
+$50 price that Company A was willing to pay... yeah right, they're
dreaming. A few weeks ago, I thought $42 was a fair price, which
included a reasonable takeover premium... Today, I am not as sure.
Probably somewhere between $26 & $28...

All I know, if I wanted to have(more of) a stake in TLABs, I would
buy TLABs... I fear if Mr Dickensen is correct, TLABs will fall to
fill the gap... CIENA is JUST TOO RISKY... The street says rethink.

Every employee of CIEN would feel screwed making the job of integrating the two companies impossible.
