something thing tells me that supply/demand action would prohibit that from happening (even if it WAS legal), but you bring up an interesting point. Let's suppose that TLAB's interest wains... for whatever reason... What IS a fair price for CIENA... the +$50 price that Company A was willing to pay... yeah right, they're dreaming. A few weeks ago, I thought $42 was a fair price, which included a reasonable takeover premium... Today, I am not as sure. Probably somewhere between $26 & $28... All I know, if I wanted to have(more of) a stake in TLABs, I would buy TLABs... I fear if Mr Dickensen is correct, TLABs will fall to fill the gap... CIENA is JUST TOO RISKY... The street says rethink.
