Those that are holding SIVB and GSTRF will probably do OK tomorrow.
SPOOS +6.8 now. Just too risky in the current environment for me. Overnight holds have their time, now is not it.

Tis the season for scalping dumpers and open shorts.

Gary, don't feel too badly. I had a great chance in June when I told my full service broker that I wanted to add a significant sum to my daytrading portfolio. They went nuts.. I've had them for 10 years. They would not take anyone on as a client without 100k at least in the portfolio. They called me impulsive, unwary of risk and said it would be really unheard of to have more than 100k in a trading portfolio. I listened to them partly. I took out 25k and transferred the rest of the portfolio to another full service broker but one that did not impose limits. Needless to say my 75k was cut by about 30% and my trading portfolio increased by over 60%. I sold off some more last Tuesday and my loss was cut to 20%. I'll be adding more to it from my trading portfolio in the future, but I don't expect to ever leave any funds in the hands of people who depend on it for their own job security.
