RE: Favors vs. Sew
You are correct, sir. While I have respect for Favors big picture view, Don Sew has
been highly prescient for the short term and long term outlook. I've been calling Favors "
Hot Line" for short term calls, but he can't decide what he wants to do intraday, and
sets ranges of over 1000 points to cover his backside.
Anyway, thanks for posting Favors stuff, at least it got me interested in comparing the
different TA gurus views.
Again, even though I'm a paying subscriber to John Murphy's TA website, and he has
correctly called the big dump, well in advance, I'll look to Don Sew anyday and
everyday for a well thought out and clearly defined analysis. And can you believe this
man posts on the web for all of us to benefit, not expecting anything. (Don, if you read this, I'd gladly subscribe to your updates)
Good trading, Dennis

We broke a support line at 8650 and one could say that we retested 8500, since
we came within 25 points of 8500.>>>>>>>

I finally laid down on the bed and read your analysis...I am assuming your meant 7650 here.....and 7500.... or maybe 8650 and a test of 7500

just want to make sure...

and alert those new to following you that you sometimes transpose or do other flakey and obscene things with numbers ;-))))))))

Donald; RE:" Holidaze "

>The strong probability is that the DOW will retest 7400 within days. Right now most of Asia is down, and JAP down over 3%. YES YES I know it can change. HK is not open - is it a holiday (darn people over there always on holiday ggggggggggg).

...that's what we should do tomorrow, Donald - like a depression-era "Bank Holiday" (^_^)

ALERT: NYSE UNAVAILABLES -- the entire U.S. Financial Sector !

well... it's simple, really. We're near the bottom of a downwave, the second since we hit 7500 on 01-SEP, so this is the third support test.

At the last level, we had four waves, and tested ~8350 five times, plunging through on the fifth thrust.

We either bounce on the lowest perceived support, (say, ~7400 +/-50) or begin a plunge down to a new level.

The only thing that is certain, in my mind, is that we don't stay here - not for long, at least - even if Friday ends up in a wild ride long-legged doji.

It's a perfect Long Straddle position, IMHO.
