CIEN @ 16 and change? Makes no sense. TLAB hasn't cancelled the deal. TLAB did not mention another re-negotiation. What am I missing here? The shareholders of TLAB will vote on the deal in November. It would be in the best interest of TLAB to ensure CIEN doesn't drop further if they are hell bent on going through with the deal. The way CIEN is priced, one would think that there is no deal expected. I bought more at 17. TLAB's original offer was 7.1 Billion, then 4.9Billion, and even if they offer 30$/share for CIEN under re-negotiation it would only be worth 3.15 billion. The way CIEN is priced, and if it were to receive a 50% premium from todays close that would be 25$/share which would be 2.7billion dollars offer. From 7.1 to 2.7, and that's with a 50% premium. I am having a difficult time understanding how low CIEN stock price has already gone. Someone who knows what I'm missing: could you please respond? Thanks in advance.
