Tom

Fax machines are subject to junk mail. I guess if the call is local it does not cost anything to fax this garbage, same as sending email.

hey cheesy---every morning when i'm the first into the office, their is at least one piece of spam of the fax machine. what's interesting is i can't remember ever receiving one on the home fax. i guess the fax spammers must have a way of identifying business fax #'s and obviously the VEALE EQUITY WAREHOUSE is one of port washigton's leading companies. maybe you should change your listing or advertise a going out of business sale.

better yet, when you take off for a long weekend, set your fax on automatic dial for every hour and spam the spammer. i've also started to ask the long distance phone solicitors who always call at dinner time to provide me the home phone of their boss so i can call him and thank him personally for taking an interest in helping me better my life. can't understand why i haven't been able to get one, though. they keep hanging up on my after i ask. pity they're such poor sports.
regards
s.k.

Hi Tom-

We have no less than 3 lines at the house and mine was the only one with the problem. About 4 hours before we left for Pismo Beach i checked the line again and found the problem had gone away. No doubt this represents an unwritten garantee that it'll return. Ev gets a ton of phone solicitations. Interesting that even though the number is umlisted, businesses can still identify the owner of the line.

Fax spam hasn't been a problem, though we do have one guy that thinks we're supposed to get all the revisions to environmental surveys being prepared for the City of East Palo Alto. So far, returning fax's that tell him he's not reaching who he thinks he's reaching has done nothing to diminish his enthusiasm.
