Jon, thanks very much. Your reply makes sense, even to me. But now for the $64 question: whether my latest Lewinsky jokes are reverberating at 800 or 1900 wiggles per second, or whether the punch line is being modulated in digital or analog, which phone comes nearest to being the universal translator?
The dude in the Totally Wireless store mentioned that even though Sprint was the cheapie @ ten cents/minute, you got banged up to like 49 cents if you 'roamed' out of Sprint territory as a result of the phone switching over to an alien network. What happens? Does a little taxi meter like thingie come on your LCD and warn you that your call cost just quadrupled? Or have I been reading too many posts from Maurice? Best, Mike Doyle
