Thanks, Protege. Now here is another thought. A lot of people have wondered whether Digitcom is going to be at the Washington DC VoIP show, the NY show, the SF show, etc. We know they are going to be in NY, and maybe SF. Now, does anyone know how much they charge companies to be at such shows? Try $3,000 for a booth, sometimes more. The reason companies pay this, of course, is for the hopes of contracts.

Now, suppose you were a very small company based in Santa Monica, with a small staff who was off signing contracts and joint ventures with governments and telcos overseas. What would you do with $3,000? Would you pay for a booth to be there with 50 other competitors, hoping to draw someone's attention? Or would you pay for someone to be meeting with an overseas customer to negotiate and sign a contract?

And if you had a pocketful of contracts, say with Indonesia, Russia, Germany, Egypt, don't you think the trade show should pay YOU $3,000 to attend instead of the other way around? And would you really want to attend, since you ALREADY have the contracts, and all you might get out of the trade show is someone trying to steal your contract closing secrets?

So why is Digitcom even going to NY? Not for the show. To do a demo with NMSS for their EXISTING customers in Russia.

Jimmy is keeping our priorities straight, IMHO.
