It's because there are "chicken littles" that we had a wonderful buying opportunity last week. "Greed and fear" drive the Market. The "Chicken Littles" who "feared" last week, sold into the waiting arms who knew a good opportunity to buy. I'm typing on a Mac and I'm long the stock. Don't shoot the messenger. And please stop preaching to the converted.

Alomex,

There are some market watchers who think the Nixon resignation helped touch-off the bear market in '74. Personally, I think the "oil shocks" of that era had more to do with it. Of course, I'm not a millionaire analyst over-paid to think about such things. Anyway, I think Apple has already made its quarter. All we have to do is wait for earnings to be announced. In the meantime, the stock price will fluctuate. Remember, you heard it here first. :)
