--- Off Topic: Clinton --

Impreached or not, Clinton IS in big trouble. Consider what he has gone through during the past 9 month, I think that is punishment enough. It is not something that I can't forgive. I have to agree with the rebuttal that the Starr report aim to defame and embarrass. 40 million $ and we get a sex novel.

No, it does not matter. Clinton will be humbled but he is still a good president to me.

If various members of our armed forces have been in big trouble for adultery and/or philandering with subordinates, how can we possibly allow their draft-dodging commander-in-heat to get away with it

Dave,

Ben Franklin had several dozen illegitimate children. Maybe we should punish him and give the country retroactively back to the British?

<<How can anyone say "It doesn't matter?">>

Unfortunately, many do, if you ask them, or just look at the polls.

It's a symptom of a basic flaw in the value systems of many our fellow citizens. To accept lying under oath and forget about obstructing justice and tampering of witnesses means that TRUTH is of a lower value than other values.

This is all well and good if the person is an ordinary citizen, but if the citizen happens to be the President of the United States, it is UNACCEPTABLE.

He will go, I predict, one way or the other - before the end of his term.

Good riddance.

Barry
