I disagree with you...emotions drive a stock and all the markets...without positive emotions pouring into certain stocks, they will flounder. A company can be run expertly but if there is no interest from investors, then it will be flat at best. The market moves with buyers and sellers alike.

I will agree that a person will do better if they keep their emotions in check when deciding on purchasing or selling....not a good idea to "marry" a stock...but you cannot separate emotions from the market...if emotions did not play a roll in the market, then the bashers would have no affect. Bashers play on the emotions of investors. They create concern and uncertainty...these are all part of an investor's emotions.

You can do all the DD in the world, but in the end, emotions of the market will rule. One way to make sure that you have picked a winner is to pick a stock that can create the $$ in the hopeful eyes of the investor. Greed is the biggest emotional player of all. Being aware of this relationship will determine whether you are a winner or loser in a particular pick.
