signist.... "Standard & Poor's today assigned its triple-'C'-plus rating to MRV Communications Inc.'s $100 million Rule 144a 5% convertible subordinated notes due 2003. The outlook is stable. The corporate credit rating on MRV is single-'B'." So? Standard & Poor's ratings, cryptic as they are, are feckless in and of themselves. The entire article could have been printed long ago. The company's fundamentals haven't changed; its "outlook" is the same as it was when the stock was being touted by the IBD at almost 40 bucks a share. The stocks price would appear to be determined by manipulation more so than by fundamentals. Sincerely, Marty
