Does anyone know if soon to be President Gore is FOR or AGAINST a capital gains reduction tax?

The worst poll is just after the release of the papers and before a good defense is launched. I was watching a major network (ABC I think) and they did a poll after the papers were out and found:

45% say he's out
50% say he should keep his job.

The polls are like the stock market right now but should settle in a few days. The fact that he is close is in his favor because there's no more dirt to throw and the Clinton side has not started their defense.

Also, once the sex shock has worn off (already has) the only way the media can keep the people pumped is to highlight the Clinton defense. It ought to be a great show.

Politicians will do whatever the polls say they should do - that's why they dumped this on the web Friday. Opinions and Polls will all be settled by Monday.

Clinton's Defense:
1) Impeachment is (intentionally) a fuzzy law.
2) Lying to a grand jury is not automatic impeachment.
3) This is not "high crimes" - nobody is overturning the state.
4) Much of the "evidence" is hearsay conversations.
5) Two consenting adults having sex - where's the victim?
6) A man commits adultery. He lies to cover his ass. What's new?

Cliton's Problem:
1) Gruesome: Stuffing a cigar up the tail of a woman your daughters age, then sticking it in your mouth (all while on government time) and saying it tastes good. Blow jobs while on the phone doing presidential business, etc., etc... - Just too gruesome for most people to swallow. Didn't we recently kick a B-52 woman pilot out of the military for the same thing? - he's commander in chief. If we don't fire the president we got no morals and everybody knows it.

2) Bad poster boy: A zillion "made for TV" movies made here and abroad will be out and on the tube all over the world explicitly showing everything. This will happen soon - while he is still president. Are we going to send Clinton (the USA poster boy) to foreign countries? They'll tear him to ribbons - "We don't like you. You are a liar and adulator. Whatever you believe in we hate. Yankee go home."

I guess this is historical - the first time the web is used to vote a president in (Gore) or out (Clinton) of office - candidate presented, debated and voted on - all done in 72 hours. The only thing left on Monday for politicians to do is to take photo-ops parroting the polls.

>ABC Nightline Poll

Was the impeachment process changed when I wasn't looking? ;-)
