Well, you are wrong. The Republican party is the party of the middle class. They pay the taxes. That's why they want to lower taxes. The Democrat party is the party of the very wealthy and the "takers", those who live off the government transfer payments in one way or another. The Dem party shafts the middle class at every opportunity with higher taxes and regulation. Those are generalizations, but true nonetheless. Check out the voter profiles of each party with any polling outfit.
