Sorry to rain on the parade, but I visit the Babbages nearby often, and I called several others. Nobody buys video cards at Babbages. The stores don't target that market whatsoever. The overwhelming majority of their sales are games, both for PC and console. The point of the special 3Dfx scheme is to help Babbages sell games, not graphics boards. That said, undoubtedly such limeliting will move 3Dfx product, but that's not where the volume is. We can revisit this after it's a done deal and find out what really happens.
