I agree with you. The interface is really horrible. Newsreaders do a much better job.

Wonder if a web-based interface is available for a newsreader? Then they could keep the news server behind a firewall, so the only contact it would have with other computers would be the web server -- noone could hack into the newsreader, so the site would still have the protections it currently has.

Anyone interested in writing it? ;-)

PS To add a little T, I think I'm buying more calls tomorrow morning. Nov 110s, most likely. I'm also thinking about selling some stock and buying Jan 2001 60, 65, 70, and 75s. Look at the distribution of gains in calls at (I think you need an account) clients.discoverbrokerage.com to see why I'd scatter like that -- options seem to rise faster as the stock is nearing their strike price, and I am confident it will run through all of those by then. So I can stagger my selling, if I need to, when the stock runs through each of them. I'll need more data points than today to see if that'll really be better than just buying all 75s.
