I find it interesting that Lewinsky would spill the goods on BC so explicitly, unless she wanted to damage him as much as possible. Regardless, would anyone disagree that it is clear that she certainly was not, by any stretch of the imagination, trying to protect him?

This being the case, would it not follow that she could have/might have exaggerated the incidents of which we are so 'appalled'.

The Presidents obvious guilt aside, I for one am not ready to accept words from the likes of Lewinsky offhand.

B.

Hi Cymeed,

Because you are such an insignificant person (so am I) that nobody would waste $40 million to dig dirt out of your life. If they do, you might say or do something else that naturally would result in criminal indictment, probably quicker than the Clintons.

I rather doubt that. Any reasonably intelligent person (judging by his posts, I count Joe to be one) could handle themselves better than Clinton, especially if they have no real dirt as I suspect many Americans do not. The average American would certainly not expose themselves to strangers (Paula Jones) resulting in a lawsuit, look into a camera and set himself up, then follow it up with a lie under oath.

Give me a break here...Clinton has gotten used to getting away with everything...this time he might not and is running scared. The average American does not need to behave in this manner, their near and far past are not filled with skeletons as you seem to imply.

Steve

Let me repeat, since you do not seem to understand what the REALITY is:
"You may be surprised, but it so happens I never lied under oath, never committed a felony, never inhibited a criminal investigation."

Whether you spend $40 million, or 40 billion, it is not going to change the truth.

You appear to think you can buy anything for money - but not everybody and everything is for sale.
