By preferring Clinton over Bush--the Americans wanted that extension of Narcissist Apollo's type characters in the oval office! And the excesses of Constitution waving Ayatollahs like Starr.. This is 'inquisitions' jealousies and political vendetta at its worse, people like me who fight against 'fundamentalism' and condemn abuse of privacy are shocked by all this. Clinton was well known for his sexual conduct as sworn Governor of Arkansas, he was elected as a person who had these shortcomings! Why Americans want to become so naive to think that this unusual? Consensual sex is socially acceptable and many like to keep it secret. Moreover lying about sex is as old a tradition as sex itself? The inclinations and sexual tendencies in private in my opinion is no ones business, it is a physical act without limitations, if Clinton or Monica wanted to be imaginative good for them. The people with lesser desire and lower libidos can talk about their virtues, but for me these high morals of self styled puritans people like `Kenneth Starr' may only pass this test due to personnel circumstances and limitations of availability. Characters like Jack Kennedy and Clinton have a common trait `that of good looks' people do get attracted to them, it is kind of fatal obsession. We need to give it to them the most strongest man's can become the most strongest, so what? It is combination of looks and aura of strength which brings this inherent personnel weakness to Presidency, it is back to us as voters who prefer that the best should represent us Bush may be would have been a better president, more trained than Clinton who had very poor credentials as Governor of a small state. However by preferring him the Americans wanted extension of that narcissist Apollo's type characters. Nixon or Johnson represented that old political class represented by ` Sisphyus' in Greek mythology so were their scandals Bay of Tomkin and Water Gate, whereas Jack Kennedy Clinton are from this narcissist Apollo's class so are their scandals Marilyn Monroe and Monica.. . We have to be little for forgiving and big hearted when dealing with these narcissist Apollo's class. Nixon and Johnson class even if they had sex skeletons could not achieve these notorious milestones, they were just not attractive enough personally, it was due to a complete disinterest of populace in their life's. The handsome young future Presidents are handicapped with this kind of baggage. Ted and Bob and if you remember or Hart's monkey business and Rockefeller inclinations, all these man had to be accepted or rejected with certain baggage. Since when sex has become treason? Even if he has lied about 'sex' under oath- it is not treason or high crime impeachable by the Congress. Francois Mitterend is known to have laison with many ladies, even sired a daughter from this relationship, but matured nations stand up and act with tradition and history, Lady Di had a illicit relationship with that Army captain when she was still married, and Charles was cheating on her all her life but these issues remained private and no constitutional crisis ever rose. When liberal values lead to incidences like this and stare in your own face, that is the real test of maturity of a nation. It is here on this count Europe with its tradition and history is more forgiven, it is on juncture like this that 'coke and McDonalds' look inferior to wines. Their is no need of bible belt in the mid America to react so strongly, Christ only allowed the first stone to be thrown on a adulterer by someone who is born and raised completely pure. We from outside who consider US a bastion of tolerance find this whole episode indigestible. It is shame to fictionalize the sexual acts, morality is a two way street in my opinion. You cannot promote morality by preaching graphic immoral acts to hundreds of millions. If lies under oath was the issue all this crap was not required it could very well be hidden evidence, if the purpose was to show how immoral the President is the immortality have been more adequately served by Mr. Starr.. This was not a good enough a legal report. I submitted this report to only one test. On that on one count the executive summary send 'currents' if you get the drift! through my body and mind, that should have not happened if Starr would have written a straight legal opinion. This executive summary was like a script of a pornographic X rated movie. I am a liberal and I debated twice about the merits of my boys reading this or not? Reasons, simply I don't wont them to know that oral sex is a norm or kinky sex is in fashion. As an evidence may be that should have been included in a secret testimony but in a serious report posted on net and accessed by hundreds of millions would only lead to acceptance of these lurid behaviors as norm. The currents that I experienced were only possible with some thing that was flagrantly dirty. I never really bothered to crave for the whole after reading the executive summary know one thing it did triggered a response in me on that test alone I reject this report, I don't get aroused by reading legal opinions.. It is in bad taste and very will bring bad name to professionalism, in my opinion this should win the award of most expensive `national pornographic novel' written by tax payers 40 million $'s.. This report will soon find the place where it deserves- the gutters.. it rightly belongs their, give right to people to investigate your bed rooms the freedom enshrined by the founding fathers in constitution will be all lost. I call it a witch hunt, smear campaign and `terror of independent counsel' the congress should vote to stop him stooping to these lows.. Give these people a leeway and your brand of Constitution waving Ayatollahs like Starr will trample your liberties, as if we humanity has not suffered enough so far- this is the last thing we need!

"What President Clinton did in private was foolish. What Mr. Starr did in public was evil." This is non-sense. What ever spin is put on it, the facts are: a) Starr is not the accussed. He is doing his job. b) Clinton not only acted "foolish" he lied under oath. He lied to a Grand Jury and he lied to the American public. c) Clinton obstructed justice and used his power for personal gains and favors, i.e. lied about gifts given and got others to lie or mislead. Whatever one thinks of his sexual life, he obviously has little or no respect for the highest office in the land, no respect for the truth or justice, no respect for his marriage vows or of women. The "defense" is always accuse the accuser and deny. He used it against Paula Jones and other accusers successfully and got away with it. If Starr hadn't gotten the DNA positive match he would have continued to deny and attached "that woman" Lewinsky. If the American Public stand for more spin and don't insist he goes, God help America. regards, Ray
