Based on their interpretation of the c\|net article, MacNN stated "Apple may double its shipments during Q3--spurred by the iMac--and capture greater PC market share" This is what I disagree with. "I think you still probably don't believe iMac sales volume will be higher than the number you proposed. " Phil, I hate it when you put words in my mouth. I never stated that iMac unit shipment can not be higher than my estimate of 320K. Current estimate range from 250K to 400K+. What I do challenge are the following: 1) iMac unit shipment in Aug was 360K 2) iMac unit shipment for the quarter will be around 600-700K 3) total unit shipment will double this quarter or be significantly higher than 1 million Eric
