"Eric, as I have said I wouldn't expect it'll have double shipmentsthis quarter but higher than your 320,000 units."

I thought 600K iMac and double unit sales and over 1 million units total for the quarter was exactly what you've been implying in your posts.

"If Apple could double its sales volume, then it should reach more than 1m units, unless iMac has more than 600k sales."

"We probably reach 600,000 units iMac sales (conservative estimate
compared to Rodg's 700,000 units, and pretty consistent with what CBS's revealed data)....The total revenue will be around $1844m as opposed to Eric's $1550m;"

If you don't think unit shipment will double then what do you think it will be?

Based on their interpretation of the c|net article, MacNN stated "Apple may double its shipments during Q3--spurred by the iMac--and capture greater PC market share" This is what I disagree with.

"I think you still probably don't believe iMac sales volume will be higher than the number you proposed. "

Phil, I hate it when you put words in my mouth. I never stated that iMac unit shipment can not be higher than my estimate of 320K. Current estimate range from 250K to 400K+. What I do challenge are the following:

1) iMac unit shipment in Aug was 360K
2) iMac unit shipment for the quarter will be around 600-700K
3) total unit shipment will double this quarter or be significantly higher than 1 million
