Thanks, Wallace. I live in the south SF bay area. I talked to my local phone company Pacbell and a few ISP's I was trying a couple of months ago about the slow connection problem. ISP's said it was the local phone company's problem. Pacbell said they don't guarrantee the data connection performance over the regular voice line unless its ISDN line. They said 28800kbs is what the most residents get in this area. If anyone live in the bay area confirm this, I'd greatly appreciated. Thanks again, JT
