It was on this morning's This Week, an ABC show. They cited their new poll. Check their site. Btw, it was their panel that said that the impeachment process would inform public opinion, just like Watergate. In Watergate the majority rejected impeachment until the hearings fleshed out the issues. In fact, Clinton is actually in a weaker position than Nixon was. After all, Nixon won 49 states and 60%, while Clinton was rejected by a majority of voters. Twice.

The figures on an impending and historically large Republican victory were reported by two guests on the McLaughlin Group, another show. The guests said polls now showed the greatest "generic" lead the Reps have ever had, and that it is still growing. Their site is mclaughlin.com

You can see the show or view the transcript in a couple of days.

The ABC news poll says Clinton's approval rating is still 59%

and that impeachment is favoured only if he orchestrated a coverup; we really don't have exhaustive evidence of that yet and even if we did
covering up an extramarital affair is hardly "high crimes and misdemeanours" how many other people in America are doing that at this very moment??
