Oh, I usually try to avoid posting about politics. It's a big interest of mine, but I'd rather not irritate everyone with my opinions on the issue. I'd rather irritate everyone about other stuff.

You are using IE? Traitor.

Penni, don't listen to that Freddie! IE is much better. Now don't forget to right click the upper browser and auto hide the interface. Full Screen! You can't get that with Netscape. :-)

Politics? don't know a thing about it....

Michael

Well, I would simply begin by saying that my natural antipathy towards cigars has been multiplied quite a few fold in the last three or four days. Hope at least it was a damn good cigar. None of that cheap stuff.

Impeachment? No, don't think so. No matter how fratboyish the whole thing has been, he basically cannot be accused of having undermined the country's governmental processes, for which I believe the impeachment process is clearly reserved. It takes a lot for me to go along with upsetting the electoral process, and I don't want to put Congress in charge of something like that unless there is what I would call a "clear and present danger" to our government posed by his misdeeds. This is not anything like Watergate.

I don't really think that a "head count" is cause for impeachment. And it sure looks like Slick has dug in his heels and won't resign unless things look grim.
The coolest thing that could happen, and I don't give it good odds, are that Hillary would announce her intent to divorce the old goat. It'd look good on HER next campaign.
