Will Kendall get another job after he messed this one up as much as he did? Or was it someone else's idea (Bill, Hillary?) to follow this absurd defense strategy? Even lawyers must realize that with this strategy they may be able to win short-term public support, but that it will severely back-fire long-term (or in this case probably within the next few days).

I totally agree with Hatch:


"He is being very badly served with this legal hair-splitting," he said. "Nobody believes that. Nobody wants to hear that. What they want to hear is a president who is truly contrite. The American people are a lot smarter than these $400-an-hour lawyers think they are."
