Patrick,

The 55 day cycle is Sept 13. Many are using JULY 17, which as you say was the closing high, but the actual high occured on JULY 20, not on JULY 17.

In light of the foreign markets being up so strong the DOW FUTUREs are only up 38. If that holds, just dont feel that is such a good signal of strong follow-thru today.

Seeya

>>Perhaps it's just a case of the averages catching up

This does happen--and I am always ready for it. It would not have surprised or fazed me if I had several consecutive losers of varying amounts. What I am taken aback by is the frequency with which the money management stop is being hit--and since that stop is by design, intended to provide some "give", it does mean that when it is hit, the losses are rather hefty.

Any good day trades that you have in mind??
