That's silly Alec. The tape reflected what was happening. What happened happened for a reason. If you go back to one of my previous posts Message 5712586 you'll find I said "TLAB ownership is 80% institutional. TLAB shareholders can vote the deal down. Do you think the word may be out that the vote will be thumbs down? I have no information except the tape to lead me to this conclusion. But when I see INCA offering 25000 shares at 17 it tells me that the big money wants out. When I see them puking the stock down from 25 without letting up it tells me they know something."

People didn't sell this stock off for no reason.

CIEN will be scooped up by another suitor. TLAB will have missed its opportunity.

Not soon. Nettles won't likely sell for much below 35 (roughly what he stood to get from TLAB). It will take a much bigger suitor than TLAB to pay this much. CSCO perhaps. But I doubt it. They will probably be happier partnering. They have no desire to catch a falling knife any more so than any of us.

CIEN is saleable at a higher price ONLY when (and if) there business is straightened out. The company either sells for greater than 50 or less than 25. There is no in between. In between if too much filled with uncertainty.
