This is strange.

The last trade occurred at 2:17pm and was for 13,000 shares. When that transaction was made the bid/ask were .039/.042. I believe the last trade was a buy.

Now here is the puzzler. There were no more trades for day, but the bid/ask changed. It is now .041/.05. The change was made towards the close.

How could this have happened without a trade. Is this more MM trickery or did they just decide to change the bid/ask.

Please explain.
