Maybe we have a new marketmaker going to take it out of the hands
of the old marketmaker that has been walking it down.Looks like a positive
thing to me.

GG...there can be a number of reasons why the spread changed...
beyond market maker trickery....especially since lately on Level II there have been only 1 bid and 1 offer. Maybe a market maker was selling for a client and just decided to go up later in the day..
Also, at these prices since there has been only one bid and offer these guys are more inclined to be all over the place since there really is no "competition" so to speak...If any real buying came into this stock I guarantee it would jump up....13000 shares at .042 cents don't amount to a hill of beans

The MM's could post any damned number that they wanted to! If they put up 2.00 x 1.75 they'd pick up a ridiculous number of sell orders; if they put up .001 x .002 they'd pick up a ridiculous number of buy orders (I hope -- at least I'd be in there).

They're allowed to do anything to keep the market 'liquid' (isn't this fun)!
