Wolfdog,
The 20 dma will be the test, if gtw doesn't successfully test that resistance at just below 54, and close above it, then it would then be a good short. Of course, a breakout above the 50 dma would be shortlived and allow more downside. But, with all these stocks below their 200 dma, the 20 dma seems to be the surer, safer short. JMO.

The oil services rally seemed to run out of momentum toward the end of the day, but the sector certainly was in the forefront of fri-mon rally.

amzn, lcos, dclk, inkt, seek, xcit were all losers on this rally day. They will take the full short attack on the next "correction".

Good investing, stx

Shorting AMZN....

I bought a lot of Amzn Jan 110 puts this morning. Could not believe the surge in AMZN price based on AMZN's new movie trivia site. So what??? It looks like the site is free. I don't get it.

Last week I sold all my GTW and DELL puts when I reached teh 15% lsos territory. I will have another chance. Kept my INTC and AMAT puts, though. I should have known better with DELL, they at least have reall eanrings and profits, and normal bookeeping from what I can tell. GTW should have tanked, but it was moving above its 200 dma on good volume, so I gave up the ghost.
