Digitcom Issues A Clarification SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Digitcom (OTC Bulletin Board: DGIV - news) announced today a clarification of its press release of September 11, 1998 Respecting Telecom Egypt. To eliminate any confusion, the Memorandum of Understanding referenced in the press release does not contain any agreement on price between Digitcom and the appropriate authorities within the government of Egypt; does not contain any schedules for delivery of equipment or other provisions which are frequently incident to binding agreements; and does not legally obligate the government of Egypt to enter into any formal partnership, joint venture, or other agreement with the Company. No assurances can be given that Digitcom and the appropriate authorities within the government of Egypt will, in further talks, agree on such provisions or that, if a binding agreement is made, Digitcom can perform or obtain the capital to perform under the terms of such binding agreement to the satisfaction of the appropriate Egyptian authorities. The Memorandum of Understanding does, however, call for the parties to engage in further discussions concerning the subject matter referenced in the September 11, 1998 press release.
