I read the report But that is all it is is a one sided report!! The question is whether he committed "Legal" perjury. He believes that oral sex is not the same as intercourse. Granted it is splitting legal hairs with a lot of people, but many still consider themselves virgins even though they engaged in slap an tickle or oral sex but didn't have intercourse so there is a line their. Neither he or Lewinsky have admitted to Intercourse. I have to concede that he lied about sex to the public. 99.9% of people would lie given the same situation because it meant telling his wife the truth. This was not Starr's or our business. It was ruled "NOT MATERIAL" in the Paula Jones case so Starr didn't have to ask the detailed questions for legal reasons. <<C'mon, Dave, you're smarter than that. The only person painting Clinton as a liar is Clinton himself.>> He is a politician of course he lies. My issue with this whole thing is that just because someone lies about something that they think is none of our business doesn't make him a liar about everything. In what other serious issue has he been proved a liar. You republicans cling to every accusation as fact because he isn't your guy and you want him out. If there is substantial evidence that he has lied about other more serious issues, like Whitewater, under oath then we can start talking resignation/impeachment. I didn't hear any republicans crying for Reagans impeachment when he lied about Iran/Contra, a much more serious issue.
