Individual Investor? There was an article on Visx written by Dave Lindorff and researched by Elena Shlugleyt. Basically it was about VISX but there was a curious sentence that caught my eye. "But Visx had to pay Summit $35 million to end their relationship (partially a result of lingering legal disputes), and they are likely to become FIERCE COMPETITORS".

How can a little company like BEAM become a fierce competitor with a giant like VISX? Makes me wonder why the statement was made.
