Thanks for the feed-back from your friend re the semis Don't know whether you have seen OJ's thoughts re this -- he has been pretty good calling the direction of the semis as you know. Now the two views are not incompatible -- your friend is looking at the first/ second quarter of next year for a bottoming--and given that the market discounts events, perhaps the end of this year may see a bottom. Re the market we may end up getting a see-saw type day with not a lot of change by the end of the day--we shall see.
