Raymond,

<<<The problem with this assumption is it does not hold true in the original language that the New Testament was written in. During the time of Jesus (Pbuh), the Greek speaking Jews used a Greek translation of their Old Testaement. And in their translation, at Exodus 3:14, God says "Ho won." At John 8:58 Jesus (Pbuh) says, "Ego Eimi." >>

The Septuagint which is the oldest Greek version of the Old Testament has "ego eimi ho on" ( Ex 3:14). This has to do with the timelessness of God.

Jesus said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am.
The translated word is "Eimi", which means "to have existence or being". In other words he was existing before Abraham had been born. The people knew what he meant but because of a lack of faith decided to stone Him.

<<<There's also the point Moses (Pbuh) uses the same title in Exodus 3:4. So does this now mean he is God as well? >>>>

Completely different. God was asking Moses about his whereabouts, not what his title was. Moses replied, "Here am I".
