The company's silence is kind of crappy here. It's obvious they have their problems but a news release explaining the situation
and what they intend to do about it would seem to be in order. Un-
fortunatly, death spiral convertibles often end like this with the
shorts demanding more shares from the company,the company refusing
but giving up in the end after they have negotiated a floor. I believe
APTX will negotiate a floor (debt= x number of shares) and then put it to a vote of shareholders to approve the increase or face bankruptcy.
Just my opinion in the absence of any statement from the company, but
I have seen this played out this way before,regards,p.b.
