NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Standard & Poor's Financial Information Services said
RJR Nabisco Holdings Corp. (RN) will replace MCI Communications Corp. (MCIC) in the S&P 500 Index.

In a press release Tuesday, Standard & Poor's also said Banc One Corp. (ONE) will replace MCI in the S&P 100 Index.

The effective date of these changes will be at the close of trading today.

S&P 500 component WorldCom Inc. (WCOM) acquired MCI in a transaction that closed Monday.

Standard & Poor's Financial Information Services, a unit of McGraw-Hill Cos. (MHP), provides analytical services and economic, financial and investment information.
